So I mentioned the other day in my post that we went to a pumpkin patch with the Lieck's and Jacolyn sent me some pictures so I thought I'd post them. Since it was an impromptu visit to the patch I didn't have my camera and Sydney wasn't dressed in her Halloween onesie, but she will be when we go this weekend!
We had a very busy weekend this past weekend. Brian's mom came to visit for Greg's (Brian's brother's) birthday so Sydney got to spend a lot of time with her Grandma Laura. We also went to a pumpkin patch close by with the Lieck's. Sydney pretty much slept the whole time, I think we're going to go to a different pumpkin patch this weekend with Cara and the boys.Also, big news for the Hodges' we're adding to the family and no I'm not pregnant!! Sydney's getting another aunt Greg and Brandi (in the pic above) got engaged last night on Greg's birthday. I'm so exctied to get the little sister I've always wanted! Everyone loves Brandi and we're so happy she's going to be part of our family now. Congrats!!
Sydney turned 6 weeks old yesterday and we're close to reaching a huge milestone, unless it was a fluke. She slept for about 5 1/2 hours last night. Of course this is a much bigger milestone for Brian or I she doesn't really seem to care or notice :). Watch the video for how her naps normally end up...
So we've decided to create a blog since so many of our friends and family don't get to see us, or rather Sydney, as often as they'd like. Our good friend Jacolyn keeps one for her kids and Brian thinks it's really cool and checks it quite often to see if he's "made the internet" as he says.
Sydney's already been a very busy girl, she's been to several restaurants, to Target a few times, to the State Fair with the Gordo's, and she's been introduced to the shoe department at Nordstorm. It's hard to believe she'll be six weeks old tomorrow.
Check back often for updates we'll try to post at least a couple of times a week and include pictures and videos so you can see what Sydney has been up to.
